Izabel was adopted into a Belgium family back in the 80s during the Guatemalan internal conflict. Now she lives her daily life, with her kids, trying to heal the wounds of the past, and trying to reconnect with her biological sisters, but she has to overcome the physical distance and many language barriers, through different creative tools the film explores the ways Izabel deals with a painful and unknown past.
